Cow skin is very high in collagen, a type of protein which is really quite important for holding bones and skin tissues in place.

Kpomo (cow skin) is a great accessory in traditional soups like egusi, ogbonna and efo riro.

Cow skin is also processed like ponmo and to cook it, all you need to do is soak in hot water, rinse and cook.
